GAMES MARKETING MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the team, ensuring effective promotion of releases while overseeing social media campaigns and strategies to enhance the visibility of games/products.
  • Create and execute social media strategies that strengthen brand presence and engage the target audience.
  • Manage post-boosting, testing, optimization, and analysis of social campaigns, sharing insights and performance data with stakeholders.
  • Analyze historical data to optimize KPIs, incorporating findings into future strategies. Monitor competitors' strategies and digital marketing trends to provide informed recommendations.
  • Attend internal meetings, offering valuable feedback to department heads. Prepare and distribute timely status reports and project recaps.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and brand awareness, organizing findings to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve the visibility of games/websites and drive organic traffic.
  • Write engaging and compelling content for social media that adheres to brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Perform other marketing-related ad hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, multimedia, game business, digital business, mathematics, business management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Marketing Executive or in a similar role, with a focus on social media management, research, organization, and content creation.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills: Ability to convey a game's unique features and benefits in a compelling and engaging manner, crafting persuasive messages and captivating stories that resonate with the target audience.
  • Social media expertise: Proven knowledge and experience in planning and executing campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and Discord.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Ability to quickly adapt to evolving industry trends, platforms, and technologies, along with a willingness to accept changes in job responsibilities and tasks.
  • Creativity and innovation: Ability to develop fresh, innovative ideas that differentiate games from the competition in a highly competitive industry.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools: Experience with various marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of gaming trends and culture: Deep understanding of the video game industry, including trends, culture, and the target audience, to create marketing campaigns that resonate with players.
  • Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making: Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to inform and refine marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with game developers, artists, producers, and other team members in achieving marketing goals.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design and video editing principles is a plus.
